We spent over half of it battling an ear infection... Poor little Titus just couldn't over it. He would be extra fussy, spike a fever, we'd take him to the doctor, they'd give him some antibiotics, and for a couple of days things would seem to get better. Then the same cycle would repeat. Finally, he had to get three rounds of antibiotic shots and (fingers crossed) that has seemed to do the trick.
Between sick days, wee did have some fun in April, too!
Titus turned one on April 2...
Chris and I got him this:
A few days after Titus turned 1, the final four was in Dallas. Grandma and Granddad Brooks came for a visit, and they brought Aunt Jasmine with! Since Chris and the rest of the Brooks family are big Kentucky fans, it was extra exciting because UK was still playing!

Grandma and Grandpa Lindgren came to visit in mid-April. My Uncle Tom and Amar came too! Titus was pretty sick during the time that they were here (dang ear infection) so we didn't get very many good pics but we loved having them here. My parents stayed home with Titus so Chris and I could go to work which was a huge help!!
Here are a few pics we did manage to take during their visit...

Also, in April, I got brave and let Chris play barber again. Titus gets his haircut pretty regularly- it grows really fast and we like it pretty short! USUALLY, we take him to a barber shop for kids to get it done. But since it is $17 every time he goes, Chris was able to convince me that buying one pair of clippers is much more economical. And it turns out, Chris did a good job.

The weather has been so nice here. Lots of warm days!! We go on a walk almost every day, either by wagon or stroller.
